March 26 at the Victoria saw our fourteenth(!) edition of Battle of the Bands take place, with performances from Lise Vandersmissen, arcai, Cell Deletion, Lucy Havelock, Delyth Field + Ozgur Kaya, and Lum Tin Wing.
Second place went to Delyth Field + Ozgur Kaya, with arcai emerging as the winner! Congrats to all of the wonderful acts who took part, and thanks to our wonderful jury for their expert judgement: Chris Sharp (Barbican), Yung-Yee Chen (7K!), Graham McKenzie (hcmf//), Amit Dinesh Patel (aka Dushume) and Natalia Franklin Pierce (nonclassical). Thanks also to our funders, the Mila Charitable Organisation and the Hinrichsen Foundation.
