Brutalist buildings are an architectural manifestation of modernism, an enduring source of inspiration for musique concrète ensemble Langham Research Centre. Their upcoming album Tape Works Vol. 2 explores the aural geography of places and spaces by magnifying their inherent strange sonic qualities.

We're looking forward to making our North East debut next month, as we host a late night event at the Sage Gateshead as part of the Northern Chords festival. The live programme spans a broad range of contemporary music, while our DJ sets will as usual be threading electronics beats and textures into these avant garde sound worlds.
