Morgan’s wider community includes NYX electronic drone choir, I Love To Feel Ensemble and Touching Bass. Her work with NYX includes work on ‘First Breath’ at the V&A East, the Diablo IV soundtrack, performances at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Roundhouse, and international touring in the EU, Australia and Canada.
Morgan’s composition credits span screen, stage and installation with notable clients including Tate Britain, Fitzwilliam Museum and the BFI.
Cecilia Morgan is an Oram and YMA Music Producer Award-winning composer and sound artist based in South London. Her work blends electronic elements with voice, live instrumentation, field recordings and her self-built motion-reactive instrument, Juniper. Her intricate soundscapes take shape across interdisciplinary commission work and her solo project, afromerm.
afromerm’s debut EP ‘held’ was released in March 2026. Featured on BBC Radio 1 as a ‘sonic innovator’, with performance credits spanning from London’s Barbican to Paradiso Amsterdam, afromerm immerses the listener in the elemental mythology of her soundworld.
