Founded in 2007 by clarinettist Scott Lygate, and including mainly ex-RAM students, the Azalea Ensemble is fast-becoming one of the most exciting  contemporary music groups in the UK. With an extremely talented group of performers, the motley line-up of instruments they use includes dustbin percussion, keyboards, violin, piano, cello, horn, bassoon and more. The ensemble have worked closely with an impressive range of composers, including Martin Georgiev, David Lang, Simon Bainbridge, and now Nonclassical’s very own Tansy Davies, on Troubairitz.
