This month, Nonclassical features the first and the newest music to use Turntables and Prepared Piano. Gabriel Prokofiev’s Concerto for Turntables will be performed in a specially reworked format by DJ Switch. The evening will also feature John Cage’s Imaginary Landscape No1, the first piece of music ever to use a Turntable as a musical instrument.
